Next, they can meet Father Christmas in the beautifully decorated historic library, share their holiday wishes, take a memorable photo and receive a special gift. Their adventure will end with an exciting exit through the secret bookcase door, making this a truly unforgettable Christmas experience.
Tickets to see Father Christmas also include entry to the Christmas fair, where families can explore festive stalls, enjoy seasonal treats and soak up the holiday cheer. The Palace will be filled with festive magic, offering a perfect day for the whole family to celebrate the season and create lasting memories.

There is no public parking on-site. Metered parking is available on Bishop’s Avenue — Controlled Parking Zone Y.
The drawing room café is open daily from 9.30 – 16.00. The kitchen serves à la carte meals until 15.00. There is a large selection of delicious homemade sandwiches and salads, freshly baked pastries, bakes, snacks and hot and cold drinks.
Baby changing facilities are located in the east courtyard and chapel corridor.
An accessible parking bay for blue badge holders only is located within the gated car park.
Public areas including the museum, historic rooms, education centre, café and garden are accessible for wheelchair users and visitors with mobility difficulties.
The paths in the botanic garden are level and have a generally solid surface with a small amount of gravel.
There are accessible, unisex toilets in the east courtyard, chapel corridor, museum and education centre.
Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.
