Dates:
25 Oct 2023 - 26 Oct 2023
Join Gallery Educator and artist Emily Motto to try creative drawing tools and techniques, inspired by themes explored by 2023 National Gallery Artist in Residence Celine Condorelli.
Condorelli’s new work invites us to recline and admire dramatic spaces and grand interiors unique to the National Gallery. Explore these spaces with Emily and use playful materials – mirror, acetates and perspex – to look, reflect and record a variety of gazes.
Throughout the workshop we'll be on hand to answer questions and offer creative suggestions – whether you are a confident drawer or complete beginner.
Take away simple techniques to support enjoyable, confident visits to art galleries as a family.
Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own to continue drawing throughout the Gallery after the workshop.
