Take off your shoes and feel the grass beneath your toes, as storyteller Sally Pomme Clayton reveals why the King has dirty feet in this funny, silly and interactive storytelling session.

What is he going to do about it? Learn about a very important invention, and discover why dirt is vital for life on earth!

The performance lasts 30 minutes and is suitable for families. Each ticket is for one adult and one child under 5 only. Entrance to Chelsea Physic Garden is included in the ticket price.

Parking is available around the garden, with pay-by-phone meters. There is pay & display parking in Battersea Park (see map), a 10 minute walk across Albert Bridge. There is one accessible parking space outside the garden on Royal Hospital Road. Metered parking is available in the roads surrounding the Garden, please look here for up-to-date rates and hours.

The Physic Garden Café - light lunch, afternoon tea, or something a little more decadent.

FAMILY FACILITIES

Baby-changing facilities can also be found in the café.

ACCESSIBILITY

The paths around the Garden are flat and laid with small stone shingle. There is a limited number of wheelchairs available to borrow. The Garden is on one level once inside; ramp access is available to our education space and to the Physic Garden Café. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available in the main building as well as the Physic Garden Café.

DOGS

Guide and assistance dogs are welcome in the Garden.
