Pumpkin Trail

Mountfitchet Castle is running a friendly Halloween pumpkin trail.

On your visit with us you can find the hidden pumpkins around the castle and House on the Hill museum and children will win a prize for completing the trail.

There is also the option, if you are brave enough, to enter our Haunted Manor!

The Castle complex has a tearoom located in the visitor centre which seats approximately 50 people, and picnic tables outside.

ACCESSIBILITY

Disabled Access at the Castle is limited. Mountfitchet Castle is a Grade II listed monument governed by the Dept for the Environment - therefore the castle is unable to add disabled concrete ramps and handrails.

DOGS

As there are numerous animals roaming freely within the grounds, dogs at the Castle are not allowed.
