With our ever-growing appetite to document our lives through photos and selfies, children are often the reluctant subjects of adults’ cameras – asked to smile, look natural and come in closer.
In I See You Like This, Australian artist Jessica Wilson flips the camera around giving children control while their significant adults become their subjects.
Facilitated by Unicorn's Creative Hub, local children collaborated with Jessica to design and direct a creative photoshoot of their significant adult, captured by photographer Daisy Gaston. The resulting portraits will create the exhibition.
The opening hours for this exhibit are 11.00-14.00, Tue, Wed and Thu, until Thursday 28 August 2025.
No need to book a ticket - simply turn up to the Unicorn Theatre whenever works best for you!
The Unicorn Theatre Tuck Shop will be open during your visit, serving hot and cold drinks, ice cream, and other healthy snacks.

Selection of cold drinks and snacks available in the foyer. No food is allowed inside the auditorium, but cold and hot drinks (with a lid) are permitted.
There are changing facilities in all toilets on basement level. Changing table and nappy bin in the foyer area.
The building is wheelchair accessible throughout, Sennheiser hearing loops are available on request
