Little Feet: Captivating Korea

The British Museum

Great Russell Street, WC1B 3DG

Free

Five colours have become a major part of Korean culture: white, black, blue, yellow and red, each representing a different element. Join the Little Feet teddies to explore the different colour zones!

The white zone will showcase objects of metal, dazzling and bright. Black is water, so dip your toes in the pretend pond and catch some fish. Blue is wood – can you build a model tea house? Yellow represents earth, where you can explore the sensory area. And the red zone – representing fire – creates warmth.

The arts and crafts area combines all five colours. Join in with creating a colourful canvas inspired by Korean paintings to take home. Add your mark to the calligraphy wall and make a pot inspired by Korean white porcelain. There will be something to keep every under-five entertained!

Supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea.
