Take part with other under fives in trying out the Indonesian art of shadow puppetry, exploring the Greek goddesses and gods of light, marvelling at the reflections of light in water through Japanese illustration and experiencing the sound and smells of bonfires in European paintings.
Create a window decoration to take home and celebrate the light of winter with a disco finale.
This event is free to drop into at any time between 10.30 and 12.00. To get to the Clore Centre for Education in the lower levels, take the stairs going down on the east side of the Great Court. There are a limited number of on-site parking spaces available for visitors to the Museum who have a Blue Badge. There are self-operable lifts near the entrance. Manual wheelchairs are available to pre-book free of charge for your visit. Mobility scooters are welcome and permitted inside the Museum. Most lifts in the Museum are wheelchair accessible, have audio announcements and include braille signage.
Service, assistant and emotional support animals – including assistant dogs in training – are welcome at the Museum.
