Take one of our Steam or Diesel Engines through the beautiful Audley End Estate Woodland, designed by Capability Brown. Boasting hundreds of majestic trees and flooded with wildlife, be sure to keep your eyes peeled as you travel around the private 1.5mile track.

Wander through our enchanted Fairy and Elf Walk to find our winged friends in their charming hand made homes. Create your very own magical wand to enhance your spotting abilities and use it to tick off the fairies, elves and any other unusual creatures you find on your travels!

There is no charge for car parking. There is a large, woodland car park situated approximately 300m away from the main entrance. We also have an on site disabled (blue badge) car park.

An array of homemade, locally sourced, hot and cold, food and drink is available from our Woodland Cafe. Ice creams are also available on site, they are sourced from local company Saffron Ice Cream and are absolutely delicious!
A baby changing station is located within the disabled toilet facilities. The buggy can be left in the buggy park whilst on your train ride. The Fairy and Elf Walk and rest of the site is buggy friendly.
Spaces for disabled parking in the disabled car park. Disabled toilets and disabled access on the train are also available. There is a designated disabled carriage with enough room for one wheelchair and 4 other persons. There are also accessible seats where you can slide from your wheelchair straight onto the carriage seat.

Enjoy a unique, riverside birthday party at the Audley End Miniature Railway! Nestled on the edge of the Fulfen Forest and River Cam, the woodland party venue provides the perfect spot to host a birthday party. This includes a dedicated fairy or elf to entertain and assist with your party too, and a wand making craft activity. Party goers will enjoy an enchanting train ride, access to the Fairy & Elf Walk, Nature Corner and Adventure Playground too. The birthday boy or girl will receive a special gift. You’re welcome to bring your own picnic supplies, decorations, birthday cakes etc.
