The zoo boasts an impressive array of captivating animals to observe and learn about.

Additionally, it features a well-designed playground with various exciting attractions, such as a sand pit complete with a water fountain, climbing frames, a life-size fire truck, and helicopter play areas, as well as coin-operated games to keep kids occupied.

For a more immersive experience, the zoo offers animal encounters that can be pre-booked, allowing visitors to get up close and personal with a variety of fascinating animals.

Moreover, Battersea Zoo is an excellent venue to host a memorable birthday party for children.

ACCESSIBILITY

The zoo is fully wheelchair accessible and there is a large disabled toilet with hinge support grab rail.

BIRTHDAYS

Children will embark on a guided tour of the zoo, whilst solving clues that will lead them to the next animal on the tour and eventually, the missing key!
The children will also have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the Zoo’s resident animals before enjoying a well earned lunch in our party cabin.
Zoo birthday parties include:
A tour of the zoo where children will learn fun facts about the animals and answer clues to lead them onto the next stage of the tour
The chance to handle some of the zoo’s minibeasts or reptiles- The opportunity to assist a zookeeper with feeding or making enrichment for one of our farmyard animals
An animal themed craft activity
The birthday child gets to paint a brick on ‘The Birthday Wall of Fame
Party food and goody bags are included and guests can stay on and enjoy the zoo after the party has finished
Zoo birthday parties start from age 5 years upwards and last for approximately two hours.
Minimum numbers are: 15 children
Maximum Numbers: 22 children at all times
