Knebworth House

Nestled in the heart of Hertfordshire's picturesque countryside, Knebworth House is a captivating stately home that has stood for over five centuries as a testament to England's rich heritage. With its romantic exterior adorned with turrets, domes, and intricate gargoyles, this Tudor-era red brick house has been cherished by the Lytton family for generations.

Knebworth House offers a captivating journey through 500 years of local and British history, with stories and heirlooms reflecting the family's influence on literature, politics, and the Foreign Service, as well as visits from notable figures like Charles Dickens and Winston Churchill.

A visit to Knebworth House promises a day of fun and adventure for the whole family. Explore the beautiful Gardens with their maze and walled kitchen garden, while younger visitors can embark on a thrilling Dinosaur Trail in the Wilderness Garden, home to 72 life-sized dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures.

Enjoy the historic Deer Park and an expansive Adventure Playground with a bouncy castle, astro slide, drop slide, zip wire, and splash water play features.

Inside the House, knowledgeable guides will share Knebworth's rich history, highlighting the family's contributions to literature, politics, and foreign service, as well as the visits by iconic figures such as Charles Dickens and Winston Churchill.

Open from March to September (please check our website for specific dates and events), Knebworth House promises an unforgettable day out for visitors of all ages.
