Royal Academy of Arts

The Royal Academy (RA) has been championing art and artists for over 250 years.

Situated on Piccadilly, its expanded campus offers free displays, dining options, and shopping experiences.

Governed by Royal Academicians, esteemed artists and architects, the RA is renowned for hosting the world's largest open-submission art exhibition, the Summer Exhibition, since 1768.

Alongside showcasing its collection and presenting blockbuster exhibitions, the venue is committed to engaging diverse audiences.

Regular workshops, events, and tailored programs cater to children, families, teachers, students, and communities, fostering artistic exploration and inclusivity.

From Art Detectives packs for children to initiatives like the Art Club for those experiencing homelessness, the RA's multifaceted approach ensures a vibrant and accessible cultural hub.
