From October 23rd to 29th during half-term, families are invited to experience a week of magical and educational Halloween-themed activities.
Face Painting: In collaboration with Jenny from 'Jenny Sunshine Faces' children can transform into spooky or sweet. Additional costs apply.
Potion Making: A Brew of Imagination and Science
Create your own fizzing potions name them and add them to the zoo's communal spell book! Included in admission costs/ members passes.
Badge Making and Colouring: Craft Your Own Keepsake
Craft your own Halloween badge providing a keepsake that will remind them of their day at the zoo. This additional activity costs £1 per badge.
Face Your Fears: An Educational Encounter
Twice daily they will host 'Meet the Animals' sessions featuring creatures that are often misunderstood like tarantulas snakes and rats. Hear as they dispel myths and encourage a greater understanding of these fascinating animals. Included in admission costs/ members passes.
Pumpkin Trail: A Scavenger Hunt with Prizes
Search for hidden pumpkins around the zoo! All completed trails will receive stickers and an animix toy. This additional activity costs £1.50 per trail sheet.

The zoo is fully wheelchair accessible and there is a large disabled toilet with hinge support grab rail.
Only Registered Assistance Dogs are allowed in the zoo.
